Assassin’s Apprentice- First 9 pages

After finishing Animal Farm I got a new book from my teacher, Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. A lot of friends think the book is boring and uninteresting, however I think that the start is very descriptive and slow moving in order to set the scene for story. Although I have only read the first 9 pages I still can write something about the book. So far I can pickup that the story is in 1st person perspective. On the first page you can tell that the narrator is going to narrate a flashback. The flashback is about the narrator when he was 6 years old. He was abandoned and his grandfather came to his rescue. After 6 years with the boy he has has enough. He goes to the royal house and gives him back to the real father.
